Atlus of America has announced today that their upcoming Nintendo DS title, Trauma Center: Under the Knife is currently shipping to retailers across North America.
With Trauma Center, DS users can virtually take a trip to the emergency room, as the title allows gamers to play the role of a surgeon. Aside from performing complicated surgical procedures, you’ll have to deal with a myriad of hospital related drama.

  • Operate on a wide variety of patients in story mode, then return later and try to beat your high scores!
  • Experience a compelling story with intriguing characters!
  • Use your applied skills to solve the puzzle of each surgery!
  • Detailed graphics bring the human body to life!

Set to arrive shortly, the hospital themed title will retail at an MSRP of $29.99 and is rated “T” for teen by the ESRB.
