Talking with representatives from LucasArts today yielded all kinds of interesting information about the company’s upcoming games. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is attracting lots of attention, but this week’s developments have thrown a new question into the mix. Unleashed features lots of lightsaber combat. Meanwhile, Nintendo has unveiled Wii MotionPlus, that nifty new gizmo that allows the Wii remote to provide 1:1 response during gameplay. So, will Star Wars: The Force Unleashed make use of the new peripheral for exciting lightsaber duels? Sadly, no. Christopher Cook of LucasArts confirmed today to us that Unleashed will not feature MotionPlus compatibility.
