First DS FPS Ships Today

Electronic Arts has shipped GoldenEye: Rogue Agent for the Nintendo DS today. The upcoming game from EA is the first of the first person shooter genre to appear on the DS. “Delivering a solid first-person shooter for the handheld system has been a joy for the Tiburon team. We are big fans of the Bond franchise and were thrilled to develop the first in the series for the Nintendo DS platform.”

The story of the game will follow James Bond as he embarks on globe-spanning missions of vengeance and demolition.On them Bond will encounter such legendary Bond characters as Oddjob, Dr. No, Goldfinger, Scaramanga, and Xenia Onatopp.
