Full Spectrum Warrior Easter Eggs

It’s been common knowlege for quite awhile the original version of Full Spectrum Warrior – the one used to train actual soldiers – was included on the consumer version of the game. The means to unlocking this far more difficult playmode has finally (and by finally, I mean 2 days after release) been revealed.

Enter the cheat menu and input the code ‘SWEDISHARMY’, then start a new profile and select ‘Authentic difficulty’. This setting will start the player off with only 2 frag grenades, 2 smoke grenades, and one RPG to make their lives more difficult, but the real ass-kicker is the fact that those helpful icons that alert the player as to whether the enemy is supressed or not (for example) are no longer present.

A big head in combat can lead to disaster – soldiers must remain grounded and fully aware (but not obsessive about) their own mortality. Gamers, however, dont have such concerns so they’re free to allow their virtual soldiers to develop big heads…and wouldnt you know, there’s a code to speed up the process. Enter the cheat menu and input ‘NICKWEST’. Upon resuming your campaign, everyone – your soldiers and the opposition – will feature gigantic craniums.
