Kirby Ships To Retailers

Today, Nintendo shipped to retailers the next iteration in the Kirby franchise, Kirby: Canvas Curse Canvas Curse marks the first time that Kirby has appeared on the Nintendo DS.

Canvas Curse is set to feature a style of gameplay similar to Yoshi’s Touch &Go but doing so with a much more story driven title. Launching today for Nintendo DS, this game sets Kirby on a quest to rescue Dream Land from the curse of an evil witch.

Anyone whom attended the Electronics Entertainment Expo knows that Canvas Curse truly maximizes the unique touch-screen control features of Nintendo DS. Gameplay proves natural and enjoyable, as players use the stylus to draw rainbow paths for Kirby to travel upon. Players can draw defensive walls, tap enemies to stun them or draw loops to help Kirby build up speed.
