If you preordered Left 4 Dead in order to gain early access to the demo, you should probably check your email. GameStop has just sent out the download keys and revealed that the demo will be available at 2 AM PST tomorrow. That means that in 8 short hours you could be fighting off hordes of zombies with your friends – it’s like the night before Christmas but with more guns, zombies, and chunks of brain.
I had a little trouble finding where to obtain my code but after some Internet investigating I came across this page on the GameStop webpage. Enter your information and they’ll hook you up. Which actually makes me wonder whatever happened to getting a cool card with a code on it from them? Now I actually have to do work to get my preorder bonuses. Not cool, not cool at all.
If you were one of the uncool people that didn’t preorder Left 4 Dead, you can check out the demo on November 11. Have fun not playing Left 4 Dead until then.
