Nintendo Confirms Monster Hunter Tri/Classic Controller Pro Bundle for North America

In a move very much unlike Nintendo of America, the company has decided to release one of its Japanese counterpart’s most popular accessories to the US marketplace. Namely, it’s the Classic Controller Pro, which will be bundled alongside Capcom’s Monster Hunter Tri when it releases this April.

For the uninitiated, the Classic Controller Pro features numerous improvements over the standard Classic Controller design, including ergonomically designed grips, a vertically-oriented positioning for the controller’s shoulder buttons, and the cable coming out of the top of the controller, rather than the bottom.

The controller will be bundled with Monster Hunter Tri, much like it is in Japan, at a retail price of $59.99. While it will only be available in black in this instance, the controller will be sold alone in both white and black for $19.99. As for those who just want the game, that will be sold at the standard cost of $49.99.
