While OnLive may be trying to make a name for itself with big titles like Assassin’s Creed II and Batman: Arkham Asylum, the service is also a haven for indie games which may not see tremendous exposure otherwise. Now the company is giving these little games that could a chance to shine by announcing a huge sale on all indie titles this weekend.
The sale, which runs from Friday to Sunday, will see all the indie games on the service enjoying markdowns of 50-75 percent, so if there’s an indie game you’ve been eyeing but didn’t want to drop the cash for, this may be the perfect time to jump in. Here’s the full list of titles going on sale:
A very solid lineup indeed and, for this weekend only, available at absolutely rock-bottom prices. You should definitely start picking and choosing which games you’re going to snag this weekend, or just splurge and buy them all.
It’s also nice to see indie games get a little attention in a world obsessed with Triple A titles. For those looking for an offbeat game to try out that you may have missed out on the first time might I recommend AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! – A Reckless Disregard for Gravity. The game’s premise is incredibly simple but it’s also super-addictive and incredibly challenging. Just try the demo out and at the end of the 30 minutes you’re all but assured to click the buy button.
