When it comes to playing classic games on the Wii’s Virtual Console, the Classic controller is a fine piece of equipment to have. However, it’s not quite for everyone, and some people want something that’s truly classic.

This pup, which has so far only been available through Club Nintendo of Japan, plugs into your Wii Remote just like the regular Classic, only it’s in the form of the original Super Famicom controller. Perfect for those 16-bit gems.
Since we don’t know if the American Club Nintendo will be offering a Super NES version (we can only hope), now is your opportunity to own one of these truly classic-styled controllers. Play-Asia has them, but they don’t come cheap. US$ 74.90 (~95.44 CAD) is the price they want, plus another $6.90 for shipping to the US.
