PlayStation Plus Subscription Gets Sweet Bonus in Europe

When Sony unveiled the PlayStation Plus service on the PSN, there was a collective cartoon question mark that went about the heads of the press. Since the press conference at E3, a clearer picture of the benefits is coming into focus.

The European PlayStation blog announced that subscribers of the paid service will receive LittleBigPlanet for free. 100 percent, free as a bird, totally in the clear, free. It won’t be tied to the subscription at all so gamers can enjoy the masterpiece if they decide to cancel the service. In essence, if someone was planning on buying LittleBigPlanet, they might as well get this service since it almost already pays for itself.

If Sony of America needs to do a similar program if they want the same traction in North America if they really want to crank out subscriptions for the PlayStation Plus service. Nothing has been announced in the United States yet, but bets are something similar will be the sweetener to get gamers aboard the playing for online content train.
