Japanese videogame retailers have started taken pre-orders for the Nintendo DS and it seems the DS is on track to have a great sales throughout the holiday season and beyond.
While the DS isn’t even out yet, from pre-orders alone, during the week of October 11-17, the Nintendo DS was the third best selling video game console. With the DS not coming out until December 2nd in Japan, many more pre-orders are expected.
The best selling console last week went to Nintendo’s Game Boy Advance SP with the Playstation 2 coming in second.
