While the upcoming PSP Go is going to bankrupt Sony fans with its $249.99 price tag, it looks like Sony is working to make the PSP 3000 and even cheaper alternative. That is, if you live in Japan.
Announced at Sony’s press conference, and reported by Kotaku, the PSP 3000 will cost Japanese gamers 16,800 yen ($185) starting October 1. While this is by no means a deal for U.S. gamers since the PSP 3000 currently costs them $169.99, the potential for another price cut seems likely.
Maybe $149.99?
