Realtime Worlds Says ‘No More Crackdown DLC’

Amidst pleas and petitions from fans of the title, Realtime Worlds Community Relations Manager Chris Dye says that there will be no further downloadable content available for Crackdown.

“Unfortunately from a Realtime Worlds perspective there will not be any additional DLC for Crackdown; the company has moved onto our next Project, APB, and is 100% committed to that and other projects yet to be announced, and as such we are not in a position to work on any new Crackdown content.” — Chris Dye via the Crackdown Forums

Dye adds that the company appreciates the support for Crackdown, and that they hope “to repay that in future,” but how remains to be seen.

After the new missions, weapons, etc, are you sad to see DLC for Crackdown go? Or had you simply bought the title for the Halo 3 demo and returned it to GameStop for a quarter of what you paid for it the day after? Tell us in the comments!
