Rumble Roses XX Contest

When it comes to selecting your favourite character from the Rumble Roses series, it is quite difficult to choose from a list of ten women (eleven including Lady X) that have each a second personality. But for this gamer and fan of the series, the choice was almost obvious, for my favourite character stood out from the others with her unique personality and background cloaked in mystery. She is, in my opinion, the true heel/villain in the Rumble Roses series: “The Dark Nightingale” Anesthesia.

Now I am well aware that Anesthesia is the face/good guy persona and her heel character is Dr. Cutter, but throughout the first Rumble Roses on the PlayStation2, she wasn’t like the other face personas. While playing through the story modes of the other characters in their original persona, Anethstesia usually played a significant role in their story. Whether it was trying to recruit others to take part in her research, turning friends into enemies or keeping Evil Rose in line, Anethesia was always the villain in the story modes. Every game needs a villain: Mario had Bowser/King Koopa, Cloud had Sephiroth, even Pac-Man had to deal with those ghosts in every level. In Rumble Roses’ case, they had Anethesia. And she was a damn good villain too.

Anesthesia also brought much sex appeal to the game. Unlike some of the other characters in Rumble Roses, she was well aware of fact she was sexy and had no problem showing it off either. Her voice was also one of the few bright spots in the audio department. With her European accent, every time she spoke came off as seductive with a sadistic and sinister darkside, making the gamer believe that she is the true villain in this series.

Also, the fact that she is an evil nurse in a short skirt hell-bent on making the world suffer brings more originality to her character. You usually don’t see that in many video games.

Lets see…..my favorite Rose? I’d have to say is Aisha.

She really seemed to me as a well rounded character. She pretty much faired well with submissions and had some quick strikes for an awesome combination. Her entrances (in both games) rank high on my favorites list too. The fact that she dances her way to the ring (and she does it quite well might I add) makes her entrance worth watching everytime. Being the rival of one of my other favorites is a plus too. Her outfits (normal ones) are some of my faves too. Her thong showing for her Face character is just great character designing ( ). The fact that her Heel character has a pole dance opening is just awesomeness within itself. In other words, she rounds out well in all categories to make her on of my favorites in the game.

My favorite Rumble Roses character would have to be…

Miss/Mistress Spencer.

Why?

Besides the great outfit, I think her storyline is one of the funniest I’ve seen in a game as of late. Coming to an All-Female Wrestling League to find a student of hers, then attempting to win so she can get money for said student’s orphanium they grew up in. The turn to Heel is also great, goes from a teacher to a freakin dominatrix of a teacher ready to “punish” any one of her female students with her new whip. That’s hot

To claim a prize, winners should follow the instructions contained in their notification. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within five days after delivery of notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

7.Sponsor Ownership of Entries.
All entries and materials submitted to Sponsor in connection with the Contest (collectively, “Entry Materials”), along with all copyright, trademark and other proprietary rights associated therewith, become the property of Sponsor upon submission, and Entry Materials will not be returned to any entrant. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledge that Sponsor will own all rights to use, modify, reproduce, publish, perform, display, distribute, make derivative works of and otherwise commercially and noncommercially exploit the Entry Materials in perpetuity and throughout the universe, in any manner or medium now existing or hereafter developed, without separate compensation to you or any other person or entity. You agree to take, at Sponsor’s expense, any further action (including, without limitation, execution of affidavits and other documents) reasonably requested by Sponsor to effect, perfect or confirm Sponsor’s ownership rights as set forth above in this paragraph 7.

9.General Release. By entering the Contest, you (and, if you are a minor, your parents or legal guardians) release Sponsor, participating sponsor and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

IF YOU ARE A MINOR, YOUR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS FURTHER AGREE TO INDEMNIFY EACH OF THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES DESCRIBED IN THE PRECEDING PARAGRAPH WHICH MAY BE SUFFERED BY YOU.

12.Use of Winner’s Name, Likeness, etc.
Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Contest constitutes permission to use winners’ name, address, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for Contestal purposes without further permission or compensation. As a condition of being awarded any prize, except where prohibited by law, winners may be required to execute consent to the use of their name, address, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation13.

Affidavit & Release. As a condition of being awarded any prize, winners (and if winner is a minor, winner’s parent or legal guardian) will be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor a signed affidavit of eligibility and acceptance of these Official Rules and release of liability.

16.Miscellaneous.
The Contest and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the State of Washington. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserve the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Contest or any entrant’s participation in the Contest should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Contest or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Contest as planned. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Contest or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Contest or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Contest.
