French gaming site Wiiz has posted a rumor that Red Steel 2 may not be showing its face on Wii for awhile yet. GoNintendo gives the English lowdown:
Did you think that we’ve been waiting for Red Steel 2 for awhile now? Well, according to a rumor, we should be prepared for a bit of a wait. Red Steel 2 won’t be showing its face anywhere around Winter 2008. It’s starting to sound like Winter 2009 may be a better bet. Ubisoft has announced that the game will indeed use the MotionPlus accessory, and that’s not even coming out until Spring. At the very earliest, we could expect Red Steel 2 to launch side-by-side with the MotionPlus…but you and I both know that that isn’t going to happen! — GoNintendo
After the first game, which seemed to meet a mixed reception, how eager are you for a more motion-perfected sequel? Personally, I’m still waiting for the price to come down a little more on the first game before I take the risk.
