The (likely short) demo will feature the Athena Main Decks level. It should allot plenty of time to get familiar with the new controls, Drones, and new, droolworthy cut scenes — at least, we hope.
If you’re not quite familiar with Assault on Dark Athena, it is in fact a sequel to the original Riddick game seen originally on the Xbox. If you didn’t get a chance to enjoy it when it was first released, a remake will be included with Assault on Dark Athena when it ships on April 7th of this year.
The remake of the original game will be expanded to include bits of story written to directly tie into Assault on Dark Athena, and will feature improved graphics as well as gameplay. Two games for the price of one — sold, especially with multiplayer. Although, it’s a sad fact of gaming lifecycles that the multiplayer mode will likely turn useless after the first week or so after release.
