Since this is a sequel to the much beloved A Link to the Past, that means items from the game will make an appearance here as well. Did anyone say Pegasus Boots? That's right! Even you can speed around Hyrule and Lorule.
The Pegasus Boots are actually one of the items that you could completely miss, since it technically isn't a part of the story, even though it is. Let me explain.
After you go to Zora's Domain which is North East of the witch's house, you'll be tasked with finding the Smooth Gem. Unfortunately, it's been stolen by the Shady Guy who is unnaturally fast *hint hint*.
You'll be able to get the Smooth Gem without ever actually catching the Shady Guy, since he sells it to a merchant in Kakariko Village, where you can then purchase it, return it to the Zoras, and continue the game.
The Shady Guy can actually be found all the way North in Kakariko Village, but will always run away from you if you get close enough. To catch him, just hang close to the wall to the right of Shady Guy and become a painting, and then just sneak up behind him.
Once you catch him, he'll have thieve's remorse and offer you his Pegasus Boots. *Cue Link's obtain item sound*
