Each week we bring you a look at the upcoming week's titles for consoles, handhelds and PC. Usually, each week has a game for just about anyone, from the hardcore gamer to the more casual and laid back. This week, however, is a little barren. It makes sense though, it is E3 week after all.
There is one game that's coming next week, and that's Overkill Software's Payday 2: Crimewave Edition. So if you fancy yourself a savvy bank robber and think you have the skills to organize a heist without anything going wrong, then this week's game might just be for you.
Payday 2: Crimewave Edition is more akin to a definitive edition. It will include all of the previously released DLC as well as have a graphical upgrade to framerate and textures. However, the biggest reason why anyone who is currently playing the original game should be interested in Crimewave Edition, is that future updates will not come to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Payday 2 due to "hardware limitations."
The original game has been out since August 2013, which means quite a lot of content has been released for the game since then. Here is the full list of the DLC you can look forward to, that will be included in the Crimewave Edition, including The Big Bank Heist, the female character Clover, and the Dentist who is voiced by Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Once Upon a Time)
That's a lot of content! Payday 2: Crimewave Edition will be priced at $49.99, however, the game currently has a 25% off pre-order deal for both Xbox One and PS4, bringing it down to $37.49
