Several companies were bidding for the worldwide publishing rights to Juiced, a racing game developed by Acclaim. After filing for backruptcy, several titles including Juiced and Red Star being the most promising.
THQ has yet to specify what, if any, alterations will be made to the game as it stands but Jack Sorensen, executive vice president of worldwide studios, had the following to say to say – “The team is off to a great start and now has the time to build `Juiced’ into one of the premier brands in street racing.”
Time will tell if they succeed in that goal; currently, THQ has juiced slated for release on all three major consoles in the summer of 2005.
