World of Warcraft's latest expansion Warlords of Draenor released this month and while it brought back tons of players to the game, there are those who remain tentative on whether or not to make the return.
There are tons of reasons for you to play World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor and we picked ten reasons for you to see why you need to play. Yes, I didn't say 'why you should play' I said, 'why you need to play.'
You get a free level 90 character when you buy Warlords of Draenor. Did you know that? That means the game is more accessible than ever! If you quit back in Wrath of the Lich King or Burning Crusade, you're covered! You can just walk into the new content and get to playing! Think of it now, walking into a dungeon as a healing class you've never played…and wiping the group so much that you respec your talents as soon as you're kicked out of the dungeon. It's ok, it's progress and learning.
Garrisons are just too meta. It's like Clash of Clans married World of Warcraft. You have this private plot of land, you gather resources, plop buildings down (each with its own function) and defend all of Azeroth. You even get peons to go out and run timed tasks for you – it's like you're king (of that one area).
They're kind of like character housing too…which is great.
Blizzard promised more max level content than ever with this expansion. They're bringing back content like Isle of Thunder and Timeless Isle! You won't just be hanging out in the expansions hub (or Orgrimmar because everyone always shows up there). There will actually be things to do besides raiding and ganking!
There's nothing like the community in World of Warcraft. You make friends, troll trade chat, and come together for a healthy raid on another town where no one is spared. No one. The games community has brought people together from across the world, marriages have been a result of friendships and just long lasting friendships in general. I mean hey, I still talk to people I played with.
Look at how real her feet are. Just look at them. The character updates were very much needed and Blizzard has been relentless on the updates. Sure, they might take a while and Blizzard might not even know when some of them will be live, but the characters look so much better than they did before.
Whether or not you like it, there's new gear. There's old gear too – gear that you can transmog onto your current gear, but come on, how much are you worth in World of Warcraft if you're not wearing the best gear!?
An entire new zone, new raids, new dungeons, new story — it's all there waiting for you! What are you waiting for? The new zones bring in that comfortable feeling of the World of Warcraft you "knew" with new content that will keep you entertained for hours!
What's better, sitting on your butt watching TV or sitting on your butt and using your brain and hands? It's basically a work out. Yeah, you can call stretching your hands out for those key bindings a work out. Your hands will be ultra muscular by the time winter break is over, people will ask what you did – you were training your dexterity. You've got to pop the right cool downs and the right time.
Let's role play here:
Me: Hey, are you going to play World of Warcraft new expansion?
You: Nah, I don't think so.
Me: Why?
You: "Just because"
That answer won't work here, ok? The important ones will like my computer is on fire. I have school work will only last for so long (you should finish it early on and be free).
I know it, you know it – we all know it. You want to know what it's like, that's ok. It's only natural to be curious, you can experiment with it all you want. It's a great expansion – it offers a lot to both new and old players.
