Buena Vista Home Entertainment has recently announced that they will be releasing several UMD movie titles on Sony’s PSP. The companies lineup includes the hit Pixar film, Toy Story, along with the classic Pulp Fiction.
Tarantino’s film will release on September 13th along with Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Pulp Fiction is slated to release at an MSRP of $19.99, while Hitchhiker’s is set for a price of $29.99.
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy has already been confirmed to offer several deleted scenes, along with a special “making of” featurate of the film. Conversely, Pulp Fiction will not offer any additional content.
Buena Vista will also release the first two epsidoes of the TV show, Lost. The UMD of the two pilot episodes will come with documentaries, casting tapes, and a “making of” feature. Lost is expected to ship on September 6th, along with Toy Story.
The Tenth anniversary edition of Pixar’s film will include fully animated deleted scenes and two brand new documentaries. These documentaries will explore the making of the film, as well as the legacy it has left on Hollywood.
