Ubisoft Comments on POP Wii

Speaking in an interview with Joystiq, Ubisoft CEO Yannis Mallat gave an update on the status of Prince of Persia for the Wii.

According to Mallat, the control scheme is “fun and intuitive.” Using the Wii remote, the Prince will perform moves such as jumping, while the Nunchuk will be used to throw out the chain. The title, which was confirmed in mid August, was one of the seven titles announced by the publisher at the Games Convention 2006 in Leipzig. A firm release date for the highly anticipated game has yet to be revealed.

AMN will keep you updated.
