Umbrella Comes to Toronto to Spread Virus for 7th Annual Zombie Walk

Even the undead need to get out and stretch their legs once in a while.

That’s why, one week before All Hallows’ Eve, the 7th Annual Toronto Zombie Walk will take place. And to help move things along (so to speak) and get people hyped for Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, Capcom is going to be set up there so that fans of Resident Evil can take advantage of a free make-up tent that will make sure those who attend will see S.T.A.R.S.:

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will be hosting a make up tent for those of you wishing to spend your afterlife on October 24th as a RESIDENT EVIL zombie. There will be a make up booth on site at the Park, starting at 12:30pm! Makeup services are free of charge!

The 2009 Toronto Zombie walk will commence at 3:30pm at Trinity Bellwoods Park, the meeting point will be the pit which is bordered by Dundas St. and Gore Vale Ave. After your 3 Kill-O-Meter lurch in quest of human flesh meet your fate at The DEAD END (Bathurst and Bloor).

Full details are available at the Zombie Walk website, and I’m currently debating whether or not to attend. On the one hand: zombies. On the other hand: walking.

Maybe I’ll just pop by, then take in a showing of Zombieland in the spirit of the day.
