Nintendo of Japan has revealed new details regarding the Nintendo WiFi connection in a press conference today.
It has now been confirmed that a WiFi Adapter will be made available. The adapter will plug into your computer’s existing USB drive, and enable WiFi content to your Nintendo DS.
It appears that the service is temporarily only available to Windows users, as the device utilizes special software to connect to the portable system.
Once this is activated, three steps are necessary to be taken on the Nintendo DS to complete the connectivity.
Nintendo has also stressed again that their upcoming WiFi service will be Easy, Safe, and Free. Nintendo of America has yet to comment on the USB device. Nintendo of Europe has, however, declaring that the product will retail for some £30.
While we can not confirm anything at this moment, expect NOA to comment on the situation later today.
