Xbox 360 developers recieve more good news today with the announcement that the Xbox 360 will support Omegame’s user interferace development software, Menu Master.
Menu Master helps reduce the time needed to develop both 2-D and 3-D front-ends such as HUDs (heads up displays) found most commonly in first person perspective shooters. The game interface will be easy to manipulate and change with Menu Master so that an game artist can manipulate versus having the artist work with a programmer to make even the slightest changes.
“UI creation has always been a time-consuming task, that relies on both programming and artistic skills, and remains highly vulnerable to last minutes revisions†said Tracey Frankcom, program manager, Xbox Tools and Middleware. “We are pleased that Menus Master supports the Xbox 360, as it offers game developers a powerful and flexible tool that will help them create their user interfaces in a greatly reduced time.â€
Omegame Menu Master is avaiable for interested Xbox 360 developers now. Check out their site for more information.
