NARUTO Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 – NDS – Preview

E3 2009 Preview

Releasing for the Nintendo DS this
September, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ninja Destiny II gives Nintendo DS owners the
ability to play as their favorite NARUTO characters. The game will offer new
gameplay features and combat, while allowing players to experience new game
modes and storyline elements.

Ninja Destiny II will offer a whole
new mode for NARUTO fans, Quest Mode. This mode allows you to explore dungeons
to find items and enter battles with enemies. As you fight, you’ll be able to
level up and gain special abilities. Collected items like ninja stars can be
used in battle by using the touch screen.
When it comes to combat, players will be able to do a variety of special
attacks, specific to their characters, as well as block and perform combos.
Ninja Destiny II will feature over 30 characters, and allow players to take each
other on wirelessly.

Graphically, the game looks very
solid for a DS game, with well-rendered characters that do well to mirror their
on-screen counterparts. The environments are also well done.

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ninja Destiny II
should offer plenty of incentive for NARUTO fans to take the plunge. Look for it
to launch for the Nintendo DS this September.
