Nintendo is making December a pretty good month to remember in terms of Nintendo Download updates. Is it a holiday thing, or will it continue into the New Year? Only time will tell, but for now, let's just enjoy.
No sign of the promised Blaster Master, Pilotwings, of Super Smash Bros., but the month is still young. Even so, today's updates are nothing to sneeze at, with the original Rayman on DSiWare for 800 DSi Points. Joining it are Ball Fighter and Pop Island for 500 each, while ARMY DEFENDER and myNotebook: Red only ask for 200 each.
WiiWare is highlighted by the 800 point Stop Stress: A Day of Fury; can't attest to the quality yet, but a name such as that certainly sounds promising. It is joined by My Dolphin and MAGNETIS for 500 Wii Points each, as well as Flowerworks, which demands a whopping 1,000 Wii Points.
Finally, we get to Virtual Console, which is bringing two hits. The first is the Super NES version of Street Fighter Alpha 2, a game which pushed the console to its limits back in the day, and the other is the original Shinobi for the SEGA Genesis. Both games command 800 Wii Points.
"7" seems to be a lucky number, as this is a fine selection. For more information on each title, check out the press release after the cut.
